To help keep every guest healthy, all dogs must be current on their Rabies and DHPP vaccinations. Bordetella is strongly recommended. Dogs should also arrive free of fleas and ticks. Vaccination records may be email to [email protected], sent by text, or provided as a paper copy at drop off.
Please bring your dog’s food, any medications they need, and feeding instructions. You’re also welcome to bring their favorite blankets or toys if you think it will help them feel more comfortable.
Yes! Medications are administered according to your instructions at no additional charge.
Dogs from the same household are welcome to enjoy walks and activities together. Dogs from different households are not mixed for group play, allowing every guest to enjoy a calmer, more individualized boarding experience.
Absolutely. Many dogs need a little time to adjust to a new environment. We take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and allow them to settle in at their own pace.
Yes! You’ll receive nightly photo updates so you can see how your dog is doing during their stay.
No problem. Whether your dog eats once a day, twice a day, has medication with meals, or follows another routine, we’ll care for them according to your instructions.
As long as your dog’s needs have been discussed before their stay and we’re comfortable providing required care, we are happy to administer medications and follow special care instructions.

Should I bring my dogs crate?

Most guests will not need a crate during their stay. Paws Retreat offers a spacious, comfortable alternative to traditional crate-based boarding.

However, if your dog is crated at home when left alone, sleeps in a crate, or has a history of chewing, scratching, escaping, destroying bedding, or damaging property, please bring their crate and let us know on the boarding request form.

Crates are only used when needed for your dog’s safety, comfort, or to prevent destructive behavior.
